A Meissen porcelain krater form vase with scenes from the German Campaign Medici krater form, fired in two parts and screw-mounted, with the orignal screw. The upper section painted with a lively battle scene of French and Prussian cavalry and returning infantry against a panoramic hilly landscape. The lower section with vermicelli decor and applied acanthus reliefs. The foot with concentric fluting and a band of white lotus flowers around the pommel. Blue crossed swords mark with I., impressed
