a tall brick building with balconies and plants growing on the top floor windows
Residential Complex Kollmayergasse
The exposed brickwork of the building is not only visually appealing, but ensures a pleasant internal climate as well. At the same time, it has an outstanding surface quality: for over the next 50 to 100 years, the brick facade will require no maintenance. Photo by Michael Nagl

Residential Complex KORB ETAGEN, Vienna
In the interior, unique parts of the original design such as a marble clad staircase with its 1960s handrail made of gold-coloured cast aluminium were carefully refurbished. It is now possible to experience the elegant charm of the 1960s in these areas. To return it to its former glory, the architects rejuvenated the ground floor natural stone-clad facade. Residential Complex KORB ETAGEN, Vienna
In June 2018, the architects completed the conversion of the six-storey building based on the style of the 1960s, when the entire property was renovated. The design strategy was to revamp the building true to its original and adjust it to modern standards of energy efficiency. Above, the striking facade featuring a mosaic work made up of small pieces of stone was extended. The regular window openings were developed as “French windows” and extended down to the ground. HELIO Tower
The attractive three-tower residential high-rise project THE MARKS will be the centre of the new urban district. Residing above Vienna’s roofs, the remarkable residential complex transforms Vienna’s skyline, while offering a lively public square and a series of green spaces including a park on the ground. The three towers are set on a plinth, which serves as a connective element and provides a dynamic mix of spaces for gatherings, leisure, training and shopping. Photo by Hertha Hurnaus
