The tiny crib was made from half a walnut shell, wood turnings form the legs and base. The quilt in the crib was made using the same technique I used for the larger one on the main bed. Soft cotton, hand painted with individual pattern squares and then sewn to give the illusion of individual squares of fabric sewn together 🧵 The top of the canopy bed is a treasure trove of items the mice have foraged and stored for the winter months; Acorns, berries, cones and rose buds are threaded across the ceiling to dry.
