The poster is balanced with tension as the body copy is right aligned towards to bottom right corner and the image is heavy up the top with a lot of negative space in between. There is contrast as the "Obit" is large in comparison to the rest of the text as well as the black an white image which stands out against the white space. Hierarchy is shown through the size and placement the Obit and the image which then draw your attention down to the smaller text on the bottom.
