Drakkar Created of driftwood from the shores of Ft Pulaski, this ship pays tribute to the fierce solidarity of the Norsemen whose blood was forged of fire and passion, matched only by the destiny to raid rich ships, pillage towns and terrify villagers. These single sail Viking ships were capable only of sailing downwind, using oars solely for maneuvering in port or battle speed, while plying the seas for loot.
