How to make the God Father Cocktail
The Godfather cocktail is a sophisticated, yet simple recipe. It consists of just two ingredients: scotch whisky and amaretto. Although the official recipe calls for scotch whisky, this is sometimes substituted with a whiskey such as Bourbon. The recipe Disaronno recommend differs slightly, with a recommendation of 5 parts scotch whisky to 3 parts amaretto. The Godfather is normally served “on the rocks” in an old fashioned glass.
