29K views · 384 reactions | 🦌Make a winter deer with a frame and some branches! #crafts #crafting #dollartree #winter #WinterDIY | By Lee Lexi Creations | Hey everybody it's Andrena with Lee Lexi Creations here and I was inspired to make a winter deer with you guys using this frame from Dollar Tree you can use any frame just go with this idea I hope you guys love it I went ahead and just dismantle the frame a little bit and I am going to give this frame and the actual inside of the frame a white coat in the color plaster by Waverly and I did give this a good good dry so both of these will be white okay or plaster in this case I went ahead and just put that back together the backing back on this frame and we're going to work with the frame now I went ahead and brought out my bare wax and the color dark antique with a fluffy little brush started getting that wax all around my frame and all over those design all that design on the or texture on the frame I went ahead and just add a little bit of that wax inside of the frame too and this is going to be our deer now I went ahead and grab very big rusty bowel that comes from Factory Direct Craft. And I went ahead and just glued this to the bottom of my frame and that is the nose. Next I went ahead and just grabbed a pencil and kind of pencil this end because I am not good with drying. And I just did some little lashes on this on this deer you guys. I don't want something too crazy because again I am not good with painting. But here is my best take on these little eyelashes and they turned out perfect. Next you guys I went ahead and went outside and these two little branches from my Lila tree and I went ahead and we're going to glue these to the backing of our frame. These are going to be our little antlers. So, I'm going to glue these down here and I'm going to secure them with some staples. So, you're going to see me staple this really quickly and that is now secure and look how fun this looks. You guys, you could stop here but of course, I love my embellishments. I'm going to go ahead and go in with this greenery. This was a gift from a follower April. But I will leave some greenery options for you guys in the comments, okay? As well with all my links. I went ahead and grabbed these brooches. They are blingy brooches. I think bling is like perfect for winter. So I went ahead and just glued those down and added another piece of bling. And then my mom gave me these little jewels and I added them to the side as well. And lastly I wrapped some pearls with some wire on the antlers just to give it that extra little look. And I absolutely love this deer. I hope you guys are inspired to make it. Remember, use any frame that you wish as long as you get crafty.
