309K views · 343 reactions | Apple pie cinnamon rolls 🤎 You can find a print friendly version of this recipe in my bio or on my website kyshkitchen.com Dough: 135g warm milk 2 ½ tsp active dry yeast 40g sugar 580g flour 5 eggs 180 g soft butter Filling: 50 g soft butter 50 g brown sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cubed apple, caramelized in brown sugar Icing: 50 g softened cream cheese 70 g powdered sugar 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1. Combine warm milk, yeast and a tbsp from the sugar. Let the mixture bubble for 5 mins. Add to stand mixer with hook attachment. Add to it the remaining sugar, eggs, and flour. Mix for 5 mins until thick dough forms. 2. Add in the soft butter, chunk by chunk. Mix for 10-15 mins until elastic dough forms. Place dough in large bowl and cover with a towel. Leave to rise for 1-2 hours. 3. Place dough onto floured surface and roll into large rectangle. Spread soft butter and sprinkle with brown sugar & cinnamon. On top, sprinkle the caramelized apples. Roll into a tight log and cut into 12 pieces. 4. Place into a large baking pan. Let rise for an hour or until doubled and puffy. Bake at 375 F for 25-30 mins. 5. Combine all icing ingredients and mix until smooth. Once rolls are baked, let them cook for 10 mins and then ice them. Enjoy! | Arina Kysh
