Currently and for a while already June is not as nice as it could be. It's cold and rainy with just some sunshine here and there. My climbing rose 'Constance Spry' is in full flower, and all this rain doesn't do her flowers any good. Instead of being in the garden and enjoying the roses' wonderful scent I'm looking at them through the window pane :-( Yesterday I wanted rose scent and some colour in the house. So I cut a few flowers from 'Constance Spry' and a few sprigs from Spirea japonica…
