Here we have a vintage (1968) gown from Alfred Angelo that is quite unique! Soft ivory organza over lightweight taffeta with a double 4" fluted trim topped a venise lace that has lilac or lavender gathered chiffon weaving in and out of venise that has tri-cluster of variegated light purple flowers. The waistline is not truly empire but is not quite natural waist (unless you are short-waisted). The bodice consists of a V shaped yoke, with a venise lace center, edged by the same lavender floral trim and a 2.5" fluted organza trim; up to a ruffled neckline. Long sleeves with the described lace and fluted trim. The cuffs each have a 6 button closure but they have darken over time, so I am including pretty replacements! The back reflects the front with a zipper closure. NOTE: the lining at the Fluted Trim, Short Waisted, Light Purple Flowers, Special Occasion Gowns, Alfred Angelo, Lavender Floral, Ruffled Neckline, Trim Top, Light Purple
