Bixby Creek Bridge is one of the most iconic bridges in California. Located on Highway 1 near Big Sur, the bridge spans 714 feet and stands 260 feet above Bixby Creek. It was built in 1932 and is one of the most photographed landmarks in the state. Spanning the rugged cliffs of the Pacific Coast Highway, the 714-foot-tall Bixby Creek Bridge is arguably the most photographed spot in all of California.

This is another handheld HDR taken from the ocean side of the bridge. This is where the crowds were. It took me awhile to notice the other vantage point up the dirt road on the other side of the highway.
