Construction to start immediately on 18 studio complex, near Reading

Poised to become one of the largest full service production studios in Louisiana, this project spanned 20 acres and provided over 272,000 square feet of sound stage and production service space. Included in the concept was a 30,000 sf office with commissary and storage space, 4 sound stages ranging from 14,000 sf – 30,000 sf, and a rehabilitated grocery store transformed into a construction mill for set designs. A future phase included additional set space within an abandoned big box store…

In June, the city council approved an incentives agreement for Hill Country Studios. Then a local environmental group raised concerns about the project.

3D film & photography studio design

The search for movie viewing options continues and will continue, but so far the screenings in theaters have been consistently successful.
