The original jaw of the great white shark was prepared by Dr. Gordon Hubbell, a leading researcher in sharks and featured often on The Discovery Channel. Dr. Hubbell estimates this shark to be a 19' 6" female. He knows of none found larger. Female great white sharks grow larger than the male.
