Taken in the New Forest, on a bright but overcast Autumn morning. Using a Canon 7D, with Canon 100-400 IS lens, and Manfrotto 055 carbon tripod.

I spotted this Ural owl in a forest on Hokkaido, Japan during my last photo tour there. I had never seen one before. The original background was very busy Jim Zuckerman photography & photo tours
