Clever: This is the pirate cake I made for my son's birthday! After trying to follow several others, I decided to try my own idea. It was SO simple! I baked 2 9x13 cakes and put one on top of the other with frosting. I cut off two corners to make it angled like the front of a boat. Then frosted it and decorated it with Playmobile pirate figures, tootsie roll cannons on the side and cannon balls, pirouette rolled wafers around the edge, and a chocolate wafer cookie plank!
