Sparkling wine label

manuel.labian created a custom product label on 99designs. They got dozens of unique ideas from professional designers and picked their favorite.

To recreate the depth of the caves on this stunning and complicated label we used three superimposed materials subsequently die-cut. The label is printed on Fedrigoni Materica Kraft Ultra WS and Bereber Sand Ultra WS, both natural self-adhesive FSC certified papers, while the first substrate material is a clear gloss.

The name Exilado comes from the poem “Os Exilados” by Almeida Garrett, representing both the exile of the wine in the mines during its stage, and that of the Almeida Garrett family in France in 1910, after the fall of the monarchy in Portugal.This concept was transposed to the label design, where can be observed a separation/distance of the two frontal elements that compose it, as well as the chromatic choice that reinforces the concept of its identity.
