Luke Kelly on Instagram: "Save these 20+ places for a New York State road trip⬇️🗽

A lot of people don’t realize it, but if you drive a few short hours north of NYC, you’ll find some really quiet and beautiful outdoor spaces. I love NYS, because you can spend the morning in the heart of Manhattan, and the same evening be up in the Catskill or Adirondack Mountains with nobody around. I’ve always looked at living here as the best of both worlds, between urban and nature. If you’re planning on visiting NYS, these are some of the places I’d recommend checking out:

Hudson Valley:
-Ferncliff Forest
-Poet’s Walk
-Mt. Beacon
-Walkway over the Hudson
-Millbrook Winery

Catskills:
-Kaaterskill Falls
-Overlook Mountain
-Hunter Mountain Fire Tower
-Giant Ledge
-Devil’s Path

Adirondacks:
