Digital revolution: how technology has changed what it means to be an artist
Umbrellium: Assemblance (2014) - dark space filled with haze, illuminated by few columns of light, stretch out, hold beams of light which move in mid-air as though responding to touch, “sculpt” fantastical luminous shapes. This piece is indebted to British artist Anthony McCall, since 70's has used a projector to sculpt ravishing and poetic cones of “solid light” inside pitch-black rooms also filled with haze, posing questions about the relationship between physical and virtual reality.
