Pelikan Twist Fountain Pen with Handcrafted Urushi Finish

NIB steel "medium" point LENGTH 5.5″ FILLING SYSTEM cartridge or converter Tamenuri urushi technique was applied to this pen. The underlying green urushi layer was painted over by layers of transparent and black urushi mixture. The result is a black body with green showing through the edges of the pen. As a result of the extended sanding and polishing process, the pen has acquired a smooth and shiny, mirror-like, surface. The only downside of this beautifully polished surface is that it is a dust and fingerprint magnet. The snap cap action is a little light but working fine.
