This apple cranberry pie is one of our favorite pies to make for Thanksgiving or the holidays! Flaky buttery crust, spiced apples mixed with dried cranberries and brandy.

• 2 1/4 lbs Of an assortment of good cooking apples such as granny smith

Refrigerated

• 1 Egg yolk, large

Baking & Spices

• 1/4 tsp Allspice or cinnamon, ground

• 1/3 cup Almonds or almond flour, finely ground

• 1 heaping tsp Brown sugar

• 2 1/8 cups Flour

• 1 tsp Kosher salt

• 1/2 cup Sugar

• 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Drinks

• 3 tbsp Ice water

Dairy

• 16 tbsp Butter, unsalted

• 1 tbsp Whipping cream

Beer, Wine & Liquor

• 1 tbsp Brandy
