Happy New Year! I hope you are all doing well and had a good time! I was a bit knocked out over Christmas, that’s why there was no new recipe, but sometimes you just have to take a little break. New year new recipes. Let’s start with a very icious one…!

Bake to the roots

Ingredients

• 12 1/2 oz Morello cherries or sour cherries

Refrigerated

• 1 Egg yolk

• 3 Eggs

Condiments

• 1/2 tsp Vanilla paste

Baking & Spices

• 1 Confectioner's sugar

• 1 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch

• 2 El brown sugar

• 2 pinch Salt

• 10 tbsp Sugar

• 1 Vanilla bean pod

Nuts & Seeds

• 2 tbsp Almonds

Bread & Baked Goods

• 1 Bread crumbs

• 3 Bread rolls from the day before (about 6.5 oz.)

Dairy

• 3 1/2 oz Butter

• 1 tbsp Butter

• 2 3/4 cups Milk
