Stikine Steamship, 13" x 16.5"

This is a cutaway of an early twentieth-century steamship plying the icy waters of the Stikine River with its mouth just behind Wrangell, Alaska. There are lots of adventurous people aboard in search of fortune in the frontier country of Alaska and British Columbia, including miners, loggers, elegant ladies, preachers, gamblers, fugitives and, of course, the steadfast crew. This is one of the larger prints in out collection of vessels and includes lots of people.
