Welded out of century-old reclaimed I-beams, the Io sculpture: named after a moon of Jupiter, is an homage to the calm-inducing beauty of ancient sacred proportions that inspired temple builders for millenia. In the center hangs a unique antique plumb bob. A perfect Zen accent to a beautiful outdoor space. The inner rectangle is rotatable 360 degrees to whatever position please your eye most. The plumb bob floats in the center of the piece suspended by surgical grade stainless steel cabling and represents the centering of all things: inside and out. Three mounting options that screw into the base are pictured: soil spear to place and move at will in a yard, concrete tooth to set into wet concrete form and place semi-permanently, and square concrete direct mount to set onto existing or hardened concrete pad.
