This hedgehog granny square is approximately 15 cm x 15 cm (6" x 6"), and can be used as a component for crocheted items such as a blanket or cushion cover. The square can be used repeatedly, or with others. It can also be framed framed and hung on a wall, as home décor - ideal in a nursery, or a child's bedroom. The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in five colours (cream, forest green, light grey, speckled brown, and black), and a 4.00 mm crochet hook is used throughout. In total, the approximate yardage is 40 m (44 yds). The only additional materials required are a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
