Matthew Rose Stark arrived at Be Love Farm in Solano County, California, after an eight-month internship at Shakefork Community Farm in Humboldt, CA. Through this experience, he became interested in perennial cropping and after searching extensively for other farms in California that practiced this method, he was connected with Matthew Engelhart at, and quickly became their on-site farm manager.
