Set of 5 (five) vintage French athletic or sports medals each one featuring the embossed rendition of various sports athletes, including a broad jumper, swimmer, tennis player, roller skater and the fifth is an athlete receiving winner's awards or perhaps giving them. They are circa 1940's to the 1960's, and including the bail but not jumpring measure approximately... 1. 45mm X 29mm (1-3/4 inches X 1-1/8 inches) 2.45mm x 29mm (1-3/4 inches x 1-1/8 inches ) 3. 42mm x 29mm (1-11/16" x 1-1/8") 4. 30mm x 24mm (1-1/8 " x 1") 5. 32mm x 25mm (1-/14" x 1") All medals are in very good vintage condition with normal micro scratches of use and time's effects, no damage, dents nor dings to the surface save for the medal featuring the broad jumper which has a manufacturing blemish on the reverse side, as if the silver plating has tiny "bubbles" in it.
