sp-, spl-, spr- Beginning Sounds Sort

I created this sorting worksheet to give my students an opportunity to practice reading and identifying words with the sp-, spl- and spr- beginning blends. Students are to read each word, circle the beginning blend, cut, sort and glue the word into the correct category. Then, as an optional activity, the students can practice writing the words into the correct categories, as well as write a sentence for one word from each category. I have this and similar activities available for many other beginning blends/consonant clusters as well. Enjoy!
