Kirbyville is surrounded by rural farm land and forested areas. While driving one evening along the backroads, I noticed a tree “reaching” across the road and a knit pattern of two intertwining trees came to mind. I remember the first time I saw that pattern, I fell in love and really wanted to make it, but I did not know how to knit. I assume there are others out there who love this block, but don’t knit.
