When teaching colours to young children, it’s best to focus on one colour at a time. Say to your child, “Let's find lots of blue things today. You've found a ball that's blue. Look, the slide is blue”, and so on. When you're confident they've understood 'blue', move on to a contrasting colour like yellow and do the same thing.
