👉 As soon as the little ones take their first solid steps of their own and begin to feel secure enough to want to start walking outside, you should get them their first toddler shoes. The outer materials should be soft, flexible and breathable in order to guarantee the regulated transfer of moisture. Children’s feet have just as many sweat glands as an adult’s feet, but over a much smaller surface area. Care tips for GORE-TEX shoes ❤️🪥
A waterproofing spray should be sprayed from an ideal distance of 30 cm from the shoe. This should always be done outside. Then leave the shoes to dry for about 15 minutes. When waterproofing, take care that the leather only gets slightly damp and that no droplets form. Here, the golden rule applies: waterproof first, then polish. A good alternative to traditional waterproofing sprays is a waterproofing polish that can be dabbed on or a waterproofing foam.
