During this year's “Spain Expedition” Ruben Evens was hoping to find a roosting red-necked nightjar Caprimulgus ruficollis. Observing Nightjars leaving – or returning to – their roosting sites is one hell of a job. Fortunately Ruben could rely on two new toys this year: the EL 50 and SLC 56. When the area seemed to be covered in darkness, these binoculars lighted up the nights. Mission accomplished with thanks to these magnificent binoculars. http://swarovs.ki/Z8sD
